Hi, I'm Dave.
I built PostDecks after fifteen years of running social media for other people. That is the short version of why it exists.
Fifteen years in social, since before it was a job title
I started in 2011, back when social media manager was not really a role anyone hired for, and I have not left it since.
Since then I have run social and marketing for consumer startups, built and scaled a growth service for music and artist agencies, and these days I run a digital communications consultancy. Different clients, same thread: helping good businesses that are hard to find online. They are exactly the people PostDecks is for.
Why I built PostDecks
The same small friction kept coming up. A client asks how a post will look on LinkedIn, and you are stitching screenshots together, or they see it for the first time only after it has gone live. I wanted to paste a caption, drop in an image, and show the real thing across every platform, then send one link a client could approve without signing in to anything.
Nothing did it the way I wanted, so I made it. I use it with my own clients every week. If it saves you the back and forth it saves me, that is the whole point.
